5 junior and 3 senior members conquered Hadrian's Cycle Route over the weekend of 27/28 August. Start was Whitehaven and finish Tynemouth, 150 miles later.
The ride was in aid of junior squad funds and the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. The weather was kind, apart from one torrential but short shower on Saturday. The following wind on Sunday was magic (for cyclists if not rowers).
