Tyne ARC on 6 March - extra points to bow for showing effort.
The Explore Series (previously Sunday League) started on Sunday 6 March 2016 at Tyne United. The overall scores are at www.facebook.com/northernrowing/app/197602066931325/ and details are at www.nerowing.com/2016turc.html
Well done to Tynemouth RC crew "The Gulls of Tynemouth" who were the only crew to get a clean sweep on the day! They now lead the women's league with two Durham Amateur Rowing Club crews in joint 2nd place. "DARC Demons" & "Wear Here".
In the open league it's joint first place for 4 crews from 4 different clubs who all got 3 wins/points and lost 1 race each. Chester Cheetahs from Chester-le-Street ARC, #Quadgoals from Northumbria University BC, Tyne ARC (it needs a proper name urgently) from Tyne ARC and Clash of the Tynetans from Tyne United RC.
Lots to play for still in both leagues with 7 rounds still to go. Next up Round 2 at Hexham RC on 3 April.
