21 January 2012
The Ball was held again this year at the Assembly Rooms, Newcastle, strategically timed between Christmas and the wind up to the Tideway heads. We hope nobody's training was put out of gear too much (though there weren't many of us down at the club at 8.00am the next day).
'Most improved' awards were given to:
Bridget Stratford (Junior Women)
Andy Ireland (Junior Men)
Liz Bray (Women)
Nick Hunsley (Men)
The Samuel O'Neill award for coaching was given to:
Joanne Rea
Lots of people won in the raffle.
Thanks to Colin Percy, Laura Clack and Joanne Rea for organising.
See pictures (as below) at the Tyne Rowing Club Facebook page or on Flickr.
