It is with regret that Tyne Rowing Club announces the death of Quentin Woolmer, a longtime life member on 3rd December 2014. The funeral is at the West Road crematorium on Tuesday 16 December at 10.30; all are welcome. There will be a gathering in the Keelman afterwards.
Quentin owned the dirty yellow Empacher that is still in the club. He has not been around much during the last 5 years or so as he moved down to Worcester but before then he was ever present around the club sculling in all conditions so quite a lot of members know him.
