Tyne ARC is seeking a Masters Coach to join the coaching team for the 2023/24 season. The squad currently has 50 members from 30-80 years old, competing locally and nationally. The squad includes people who wish to row for enjoyment, fitness, social and competition. All require input into their rowing.

The post holder will work under the guidance of the Captain and Vice-Captain of Coaching and in close liaison with the squad coordinators in the day to day coaching of the masters squads. The primary purpose is to organise and to deliver a high-quality training program of sculling and rowing alongside volunteer/trainee coaches.

The standad week will be seven hours. Hours will generally be 6-8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 9-11am on Saturdays with 1 hour allowed for planning per week. Attendance at events and competitions at other locations will also be expcetd, with expenses paid. More details are in a pdf here; applications via CV by 3 December 2023.
