The Club held its AGM on 12 November 2010 with over 40 members present and ably chaired by the President, Nigel Sprague.
The outgoing Committee's written report was well received (and can be read as part of the agenda papers - link below). There was an interesting presentation on developing a culture of safety in the Club from the Water Safety Adviser, Liz Bray.
The meeting was disappointed at a lack of accounts but these were promised soon for a special general meeting. Some changes to the constitution were agreed, to bring it up to date and to alter the membership categories slightly, including a new, low cost parent/helper/volunteer/social category.
The new constitution can be downloaded from the link below. Changes to the subscription fees were agreed, as already reported here. The meeting elected a new Trustee (John Goddard) and a new Vice President (David Robinson).
