Divs 1 & 2 - conventional regatta format
Divisions 1 and 2 are in conventional regatta format, but with a number of mixed events. Likley start of divisions are 10:00 for Div 1 and 13:00 for Div 2, but subjet to enries.
We will be racing in two lanes only (no three lane races this year) over about 800 metres , rowing upstream and finishing at Tyne ARC steps. All crews will boat from at TARC except for those from TURC, who will use their own steps.
Div 3 - Captain's Regatta
Division 3 (labelled Tyne ARC Captain's Regatta on the poster) from about 15:00 will consist of knock-out races for eights and stable quads, with crews drawn on the day from interested competitors who had raced in Divs 1 and 2 and from other TARC club members. These races are not on BROE and no points awarded.
Entries and draw
Entries to the main regatta are by BROE only and will open on 2 July 25 at 18:00 and close on 26 July 25 at 20:00.
