At HORR Tyne I came in at 77th overall with a time of 18:41, beating Tees by 2 seconds and DARC by 4 seconds. Tyne II came in at 155th overall in 19:03. Our crews were 13th and 39th respectively in their IM2 category; winners at this level were Newcastle University in a time of 18:11.

Northumbria Uni's novice crew came in at 328th overall and 26th out of 54 in their category in 20:13. Fastest time overall was 17:22.

At Vesta Veterans Head on 28 March on a shorter course, the Tyne boat came in 142nd overall and 26th out of 34 in their Vet D category in a time of 15:48. Overall winning time was 13:28 and the winning Vet D time was a very sharp 13:29!
