The national Junior Volunteer of the Year Award for 2008 was presented at the North East Club Development Conference in Durham at the end of January.
British Rowing announced that the recipient was Catherine Pringle and that the award was in recognition of her work in support of the junior coaches at Tyne Rowing Club. The nomination was made back in spring 2009 and Catherine is now working with another club, but we are glad that she was able to develop her interest in rowing with us and is still taking a very keen interest in the sport. Many congratulations.
