Will Fletcher and Kieren Emery honorary (and past junior) members of Tyne have won medals at the World U23 Champions in Brest, Belarus, on 25 July.
Will won gold as part of the lightweight men's four along with David Jones, Jono Clegg and Jamie Kirkwood. Kieren - racing at this regatta for the first time as a lightweight - and Ben Rowe won silver in the lightweight men's double scull.
Overall the GB Rowing Team finished the day with seven medals in total - a gold, three silvers and three bronzes. The seven-boat medal tally meant that 29 medal-winning rowers returned to the UK. Find a fuller report here.
