The club runs or hosts the following rowing competitions (comps for short). More details of each will be available on the relevant sub-page (see navigation bar at left) as the event approaches. 

* Tyne Head - 11 February 2023 - a TARC comp - poster out now
* BUCS 4s & 8s Head - co-hosted with TURC & NUBC for BUCS - 18/19 February 2023
* Ponteland Junior Head - 18 March 2023 - a TARC comp
* Tyne Regatta - 24 June 2023 - a TARC comp
* Captain's Regatta - internal TARC fun event - August 2023
* Tyne Single Scullers Head - an NUBC comp run from TARC - 16 September 2023
* Tyne LDS - an NRC comp co-hosted with TURC & NUBC - 7 October 2023
* Rutherford Head - 2 December 2023 - a TARC comp

We usually host two NRC Explore Rowing events during the year. Last year they were on:

* Great Tyne Row - on Sunday 21 August 2022 - no date yet for 2023
* Northern Region Sunday League - our series event at TARC was on 2 October 2022 - ditto re 2023

Regional and national calendars of rowing competitions

The Northern Rowing online website at www.nerowing.com/calendar.html keeps a calendar of forthcoming events in the region and further afield up to the end of March 2024. Social and other events at the club

The club organises social and other events from time to time, notably the Annual Dinner usually in October or November and the Winter Ball in late January or early February. The club Annual General Meeting is in October or November each year. In the run up to the meeting it will have its own web page.
